It is now impossible to download the F22 ADF V5.144 patch by using the webupdate.exe program. To remedy this problem I have put up this page to show you what to do as an alternative. However, this is not 100% foolproof so if you do get errors similar to "unable to run in DOS", then you should use the checklist at the bottom of this page.
The Readme file with information about what the patch does is available here
3. Open the webupdate.exe program. At this stage it should say "local update available". Now press the "RUN" button and your copy of F22 ADF will be updated to V5.144.
Also - If you find any of the links on this page to be dead then please e-mail me immediately telling me which file is missing, as I may be able to send it to you.
An alternative location to download from appears to be the downloads and patches section of www.gamesdomain.co.uk, under the letter "F". A more direct link is to go to http://www.gamesdomain.co.uk/patches/f.html
Fang recently had the MS-DOS error problem, but he fixed it using this technique: 1)Installed the game as per usual 2) copied 3 files to the f22\program directory.. Webupdate.exe F22aerg1.exe F22aerg3.exe 3)ran webupdate, then ran aerg1,then ran aerg3 If you are using DirectX you need the aerd files instead
The f22a*r*3.exe files are available from the gamesdomain site. Alternatively get the English versions here - f22aerd3.exe, f22aerg3.exe.
If all else fails then I have provided a zip file of all the files that change or are new after the patch is installed going from a webupdate reported V5.108 to V5.144 for English Direct3D only. Simply extract the files into you ADF program directory and you will be upgraded! Get it here.
