As part of the SVBS Mentoring Scheme, several workshops and co-working sessions have been set up for business founders, owners and managers based in South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse.
About the SVBS Mentoring Scheme
In October 2019 South and Vale Business Support launched a subsidised mentoring scheme, allowing entrepreneurs, business founders, owners and managers based in South and Vale to engage with a highly experienced team of business mentors – at no cost to their business.
Mentors are available to work with ambitious business owners based in South or Vale that are looking to grow their business, create jobs or increase productivity.
Business Plan on a Page Workshops
The workshops will take place throughout February and March in locations around South and Vale and will be run by Grae Laws and Leslie McKie. You can find out more about them on our Business Mentors page.
What will the workshops cover?
The first workshop will improve your understanding of all aspects of your business and create a business plan on page.
The Business Plan second workshop will focus on your value proposition and marketing.
In this active learning environment, you will work with other small business owners to share knowledge and provide feedback on your model.
View the thumbnails below for details of each of the workshops. Click on the event to be taken to the Eventbrite page to register to attend the workshop.
You are not required to attend both workshops, although it is strongly recommended you do!
These free sessions are aimed at business owners, managers and employees based in South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse.
The benefits of co-working include:
- One to one support from SVBS team
- Peer support
- Advice on access to resources
- Build your local network with like-minded business people
- Collaborate and learn new skills
- Take a break from working alone to join us in a social environment
Attendance is free, but places at the sessions are limited, so please do register to confirm your spot.
