OxLEP’s Low Carbon Network Navigator, Sam Hampton, is inviting local SME owners and managers to attend a free workshop to explore ideas about sustainable growth and the practical implications for their own businesses. The workshop will take place on Monday 3rd July, from 9.30am to 1.00pm.
Sam is working with researchers from Oxford University, The Open University Business School, and Oxford-based communications specialists, Climate Outreach who will facilitate the event. Workshop participants will be encouraged to look beyond the typical 3-5 year business plan horizon and consider how they might reshape their businesses to deal with upcoming challenges, including climate change, resource constraints, tax and regulation.
Expect a thought-provoking discussion that will spark fresh ideas about your business priorities and what you really want to achieve in the long run.
Sam’s team have compiled a short online survey, which includes further information on the workshops. Follow this link to find out more about this project: http://business-school.open.ac.uk/growing-green
