We have put together a list of businesses in South and Vale who are open and trading during the COVID-19 crisis.

Use the table below to discover the businesses that are trading. You can filter them by their location, industry and more.

Google Maps is highlighting restaurants that offer either takeaway or delivery services.

You can find the new ‘delivery’ and ‘takeaway’ filter at the top of Google maps, within the ‘Search this area’ section. Users can also type ‘takeaway’ or ‘delivery’ into the search bar at the top to produce the same results.

The PopUp Business School

Businesses are finding that they have more time to spend on focusing on the things that they wouldn’t normally get time to do. The PopUp Business School team have written an article on getting your website right, brilliant for those who want to develop their online presence.

The team have also created a Business Survival Guide, regularly publishing articles and videos on a variety of topics.

The Risborough Basket

Princes Risborough Town Council have set up The Risborough Basket, an initiative supported by Risborough Area Community Bus and local volunteers.

The scheme encourages residents to stay at home and order online from an assortment of local businesses. Their orders are then delivered directly to their door, ensuring that strict social distancing measures are carried out.

22 out of a possible 40 shops in Princes Risborough have joined the scheme, and all but 6 carry out their own deliveries.

The Henley Basket

Inspired by Princes Risborough’s scheme, Henley Town Council is launching a retail and hospitality website for the town’s residents.

Henley Town Council are currently calling for businesses to participate in the scheme. To join in, please complete this form and send to basket@henleytowncouncil.gov.uk.

Government are currently seeking businesses who can help out during the current Coronavirus emergency. The support needed includes things like:

• medical testing equipment
• medical equipment design
• protective equipment for healthcare workers, such as masks, gowns and sanitiser
• hotel rooms
• transport and logistics, for moving goods or people
• manufacturing equipment
• warehouse or office space, for medical use or storage
• expertise or support on IT, manufacturing, construction, project management, procurement or engineering
• social care or childcare

You’ll be asked some questions about the type of support you can give. You’ll then be contacted as soon as possible if your support is needed.

You’ll need your company number if you have one.
