Ride Revolution is a new project that takes in unwanted bikes from people, rather than them going to landfill and recycle centres, to be restored or repaired by the community.
The refurbished bikes are then given to individuals from disadvantaged families in South and Vale, to help them get out and keep active whilst also giving them the knowledge and confidence to ride safely and keep their bike in good working order.
The Active Communities team at South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse District Councils are looking for businesses to support this project by either providing space to store donated bikes before they are moved on to our restoration workshop, or assist in the transportation of the bikes to the workshop.
Any business that supports this initiative will get their name and logo on all promotional materials and social media as a supporting partner in the scheme.
If you would like to be involved in the project or would like more information, please contact the Active Communities team.
